We had a really fun day seeing each others costumes and getting into the blue face-paint (Thanks Mrs Goodman!) to get behind Heart Children fundraising this year.
Heart Children raises money to help children with heart problems get the surgery and treatment they need. Did you know? Every week 12 babies are born with a heart defect. More than half of these need surgery. Sadly, some can not be fixed. Over 1000 children a year are treated for this in Auckland hospital! Childhood heart disease kills more children than all of the other childhood diseases put together so it is an important charity.
Your donation is going towards suport and care of these children. Thanks heaps for your support. The school raised $224.20!
